3. Jamming on the guitar 🎸

Daily Summary:

• Distance hiked: 0 km

• Starting point: Twin Lakes

• Ending point: Twin Lakes

• Weather conditions: Sunny and perfect for laziness

Daily Reflections (challenges, insights, musings):

Woke up early and played fetch with Hannah’s dogs, Frito and Terra. Honestly, if I had even half their energy, I’d be unstoppable. Then met up with Oz by the espresso bus—because, obviously, coffee first.

We spent the next few hours doing absolutely nothing productive and it was glorious. Enter Craig, a true trail legend from Leadville. The man’s done it all—skiing, rafting, 100-mile runs for fun (yeah, you read that right). He drove us closer to camp and even invited us for a sauna back in Leadville. What a guy.

Found a solid camping spot and waited for Maja and Tony to arrive. When they did, Maja took over the grill and made steaks that could bring a tear to your eye. Seriously, campfire cooking at its finest. We ate, laughed, talked AI, population growth, and I strummed a few tunes on the guitar. Perfect end to a perfect, lazy day.
