Daily Reflections:

The hangover from yesterday’s luxury left me groggy, but Captain and Not Ready were up early and ready to go. We hiked along the highway for what felt like forever, with Logan joining us mid-morning. The day was a mix of dry stretches and trail magic—water when we needed it most. A long lunch break got us ready for a tough climb, and we ended the day with a fire ring and a camp full of hikers. Not Ready wasn’t feeling great—altitude sickness, maybe—and it made me worry about Wildflower joining me next week. The trail’s tough, but nature and community makes it worth every step.
